| Helping to rebuild teen lives is the goal of Integrity House |
The teen years can be a time of rebellion for many children.
For some, that rebellion becomes destructive, and Integrity House Utah can
help girls chart a new path towards a bright future.
Over the course of ten months to one year, girls are
supervised as they work within a program of education and individualized
therapy that helps them deal with emotional issues within their own homes,
schools, and out in the world.
Troubled girls are supervised 24 hours a day, seven days a
week, as they learn new life skills to help them learn respect, integrity, and
responsibility. Teens also have the
opportunity to experience academic success that also gives them a solid
foundation for later in life.
Integrity House
reviews many of the other issues that can be a threat to young women.
Substance abuse, emotional issues, and other underlying problems can cause teen
girls to lash out. Through the treatment process, issues at the core of
rebellious and unhealthy behaviors can be uncovered, and then girls can become
equipped with a new set of coping skills.
For parents, placing a child in residential treatment can be
a difficult decision. The highly-structured environment is a safe place for
girls to create a new start for themselves that is often a new beginning for
the entire family, as they are able to often rebuild damaged relationships.
Enrollment is limited, ensuring that each girl receives the
specialized care they deserve in a
setting of unconditional love and support.
